Calming Lavender Soap

Calming Lavender is a handcrafted bar made with fresh goat milk, which makes every wash genuinely smooth and enveloping from the very first use. Lavender 40/42 essential oil gives the bar that herbal, floral, and slightly sweet aroma you recognize the moment you unwrap it — one of those scents that needs no introduction. Colloidal oatmeal and purple Brazilian clay complete the formula: the oatmeal contributes a silky, smooth feel; the clay creates the purple swirl that surprises you when the bar is cut and decorates the top alongside pressed dried lavender buds. This one works equally well for hands and body.

The bar is a warm ivory, threaded with a purple swirl that winds through the inside and fully reveals itself only when cut — a small visual detail born from the purple Brazilian clay hand-swirled into each batch. Goat milk lifts the lather into something extraordinarily creamy and silky, with a lotion-like texture that's noticeable from the very first rinse. An olive oil base keeps the wash mild and non-stripping; cocoa butter and shea butter add a dense, enveloping richness that lingers after you towel off; avocado oil contributes the soft, skin-loving quality that well-formulated bars are known for; and castor oil rounds everything out with a thick, sustained foam that holds through the whole wash. The bar is firm and very long-lasting.

As good at the sink as it is in the shower. For hands, lather directly on skin or between wet palms; for the body, work up a foam and apply with gentle circular strokes. It's particularly lovely as a hand soap by the basin, where the lavender aroma makes even a quick rinse feel a little more considered. Rest the bar on a draining soap dish between uses and let it dry completely — it lasts considerably longer that way.
