Our story

Snooty Soaps started for a very simple reason: we couldn't find soaps we truly loved. The ones that promised fine ingredients tended to fall short, and the rest were exactly what you'd expect from something mass-produced. So we decided to make them ourselves. Today we make the kind of soap we always wished we could find: bars made with care, by people who genuinely care about the result. We believe good soap shouldn't be an out-of-reach luxury — it should be something anyone can enjoy every day.

Why “Snooty”?

The name is a wink: “snooty” means something a little posh or exclusive. We like the idea of a soap with a touch of class — considered, premium, special — even though the truth is we make it for everyone, not just a select few. And there's a second reason: “Snooty” is also our mascot, the axolotl who lives in our logo — a small piece of Mexican pride that comes along with every bar.

Our craft

Each bar is handmade, in small batches, using the cold-process method: the traditional approach — slower and more careful — that preserves the natural glycerin produced during the process. We work with carefully selected oils and butters (olive, coconut, cocoa, shea, among others) and let each batch cure for as long as it needs to become a firm bar with a creamy, long-lasting lather.

What we care about

We don't mass-produce. We make small batches, with attention to detail at every step — from choosing the ingredients to cutting and finishing each piece. That's why no two bars are exactly alike: the small variations are the mark of something handmade. We focus on the essentials — natural-origin ingredients and honest craftsmanship — and avoid unnecessary synthetic fillers. We also don't use palm oil: although it's common in the industry, we choose to go without it because of the environmental harm tied to its production.
